As an emblem of hospitality that developed a Linz09 logo motif and as a boost to the visibility of the Infocenter, the outside area was painted in a loud red-and-white checked pattern reminiscent of a traditional table cloth.
The first floor housed the Linz09 Press Centre, which was used for press conferences, accreditations, interviews and information events.

Als Zeichen der Gastfreundlichkeit, anknüpfend an ein Linz09-Logosujet, und wegen der Signalwirkung wurde über diese Bereiche ein auffälliges rot-weiß-rosa Karomuster entsprechend einer traditionell österreichischen Tischdecke ausgebreitet.
Im 1. Stock befand sich das Linz09 Pressecenter, das für Pressekonferenzen, Akkreditierungen, Interviews und Infoveranstaltungen genutzt wurde.
