In the center of the island the supply is rather scanty.

The stars of the hotels are however a certain information about quality, but not a guaranty.

We stayed in Qawra / Bugibba at the Hotel " Soreda " and we were very pleased with it.

It is interesting that even such big structures like galaxies go through a process of evolution.

Shortly after their birth they include many massive stars that shine particularly bright.

Offering astronomical lectures targeted at students in their first year provides one of the attractive features of the studies of physics in Bonn, and typically more than 100 students attend these courses every year.

The first part of this course introduces the basic astronomical concepts and methods, and treats the Solar System, the properties of stars and their evolution, stellar systems, the interstellar medium and the formation of stars.

Much of the material of this first course is presented in the book Lehrbuch Astronomie Gymnasiale Oberstufe ( Duden Paetec ).

In all models the employed time-dependent theory of convection leads to larger convection zones compared to other work.

This results in longer main-sequence lifetimes and larger helium cores with possible consequences for the final stages of these stars and the metal feedback for successive generations of stars.

You have an idea and then you follow it up, you actually go about what we call reducing it to practice, or realising it.

Perhaps it’s less exploring the light itself, but first of all questioning whether the light’s really there in the first place, making sure it’s a star, a solar system, not a shooting star.

I guess in art a shooting star, as long as it’s beautiful while it lasts, may be as good as a sun.

Meteoric iron

When we observe a shooting star in the autumn night sky we are in fact seeing the brief flare of a meteorite.

We find this material from the cosmos on earth in the form of meteoric iron, and use it during the colds and flu season as a fortifying active ingredient in WALA Meteoreisen Globuli velati.

Meteoreisen

Studying Aetherial fragments naturally leads to the broader topic of the planes.

Surely you have seen a shooting star.

This occurs when a piece of Aetherius, spirit-plane and source of magic, becomes dislodged and falls to Nirn.

I guess in art a shooting star, as long as it ’s beautiful while it lasts, may be as good as a sun.

In science it’s not and that is where the drudgery starts, when nine out of ten experiments to figure out the difference between shooting star and solar system fail.

What actually is very important in science aside from, obviously, pursuing the goal you set – and I wonder how much that plays a role in your field? – is to keep your eyes open for serendipity.

What are shooting stars ?

Week 46 A bright line of light appears across the night sky – and popular wisdom would have us believe that any person witnessing a shooting star is entitled to make a wish.

With eyes closed, that person must then make their wish, but not tell anyone else what it is.

Was sind Sternschnuppen ?

They were not elves dancing out there, as their old nurse had told him ; he knew better ? they were vapours which were warmer than the air, and that is why they rose.

A shooting star lit up the sky, and the boy's thoughts passed in a second from the vapours of the earth up to the shining meteor.
