research.fh-ooe.atThe Institute develops methodological / strategic contributions to processing multi-scale, crossdisciplinary tasks that arise from conflating the requirements of the ecosystemic landscape and the sustainable development of infrastructure systems with both the functional and aesthetic shaping of landscape.
The research approach objective is to prepare spatial/design contributions to the enhancement of landscape as the foundation of sustainable spatial development, based on a concept of landscape as a nexus of ecosystem processes and multifunctional use requirements.
Within this, the connections between landscape planning and ecology on the one hand, and town planning, civil engineering and agriculture on the other, are seen as decisive.
www.uni-stuttgart.deDas Institut entwickelt methodisch-strategische Beiträge zur Bearbeitung von maßstabs- und disziplinenübergreifenden Aufgabenstellungen, die sich aus der Verbindung von Anforderungen des ökosystemaren Landschaftshaushalts und der nachhaltigen Entwicklung von Infrastruktursystemen mit einer funktionalen wie auch ästhetischen Ausgestaltung von Landschaft ergeben.
Ziel des Forschungsansatzes ist die Erarbeitung räumlich-gestalterischer Beiträge zur Qualifizierung von Landschaft als Grundlage nachhaltiger Raumentwicklung, basierend auf einem Verständnis von Landschaft als komplexes System ökosystemarer Prozesse und multifunktionaler Nutzungsanforderungen.
Dabei werden die Bezüge zwischen Landschaftsplanung und Ökologie einerseits sowie Stadtplanung, Bauingenieurwesen und Landwirtschaft andererseits als maßgebend verstanden.
