Worker’sPAS steht für “ Worker ’s Practically Acquired Skills ” und bezeichnet ein Zertifikat zur Anerkennung von informell erworbenen Berufskompetenzen, das seit 2011 in Uganda eingeführt wird.

Von Januar 2011 bis Dezember 2013 fand das Vorhaben „Worker’sPAS – Validation of informal and non-formal training“ in sieben Provinzen von Uganda statt.

Das Projekt wurde von der Europäischen Union finanziert und von Fairventures Worldwide (ehemals Swisscontact Germany) und Swisscontact Uganda umgesetzt.

Worker’sPAS stands for ‘ Worker ’s Practically Acquired Skills ’ and defines a certificate introduced throughout Uganda in 2011 to recognize informally acquired professional skills.

The project entitled ‘Worker’sPAS – Validation of informal and non-formal training’ was implemented from January 2011 to December 2013 in seven provinces in Uganda.

It was financed by the European Union and implemented by Fairventures Worldwide (formerly Swisscontact Germany) and Swisscontact Uganda.

1981 hat sie begonnen am Northeastern Regional Institute for Non-formal and Informal Education in Ubonratchathani als Radio- und Fernsehproduzentin zu arbeiten.

Im Jahr 2000 wechselte sie an das Institute for Non-formal and Informal Education in Prajuabkirikhan als Leiterin der Planungsabteilung für Finanzen und Informationen.

Seit 2007 arbeitet sie im Wissenschaftlichen Zenrtum für Bildung in Lampang als Leiterin des Service and Academic Support.
