The “Taufe Jesu” (Jesus’ baptism) is said to be the work of Jacobo Tintoretto, the most influential exponent of Venetian painting.It was probably created around 1570.
Of great importance are the 18 pictures on the gallery which were probably painted by Matthäus Gundelach.

Ebenfalls an der Nordwand befindet sich ein Bild, das besonders durch einen achteckigen Rahmen auffällt – die „Taufe Jesu“ wird dem Hauptmeister der venezianischen Malerei, Jacobo Tintoretto, zugeschrieben und dürfte um 1570 entstanden sein.
Eine besondere Stellung nehmen die achtzehn Bilder an der Empore ein, die wohl von dem Maler Matthäus Gundelach stammen.
