Due to increased demand for certified products in the market for compressed biogas and bio natural gas, we have trained our employees with regard to sustainability criteria and certification and sustainably certified the whole production of biogas and bio natural gas.

In production for other markets without a legal certification process we apply the criteria of the Biofuel Sustainability Regulation.

Certification confirms sustainable bioethanol production Bioethanol produced at the plants of CropEnergies AG, Mannheim, in Zeitz (Saxony-Anhalt) and Wanze (Belgium) conforms to all the requirements of the German Biofuel Sustainability Regulation.

Both plants and the company's tank storage facilities in Rotterdam and Duisburg were certified in October 2010. CropEnergies can therefore prove that bioethanol is produced sustainably at the plants.
