And in the video work » Sweet 16 « from the same year , the source material – in this case two brief segments from the Guns N ’ Roses video » Sweet Child O ’ Mine « – also is altered via technical intervention with the composition .
In this double projection, Arcangel makes use of Steve Reich’s phasing technique, so that the two looped video sequences play in and out of sync with each other.

Und auch in der Videoarbeit »Sweet 16« aus dem selben Jahr wird das Ausgangsmaterial, in diesem Fall zwei kurze Segmente aus dem Guns N’ Roses-Video »Sweet Child O’ Mine«, durch einen kompositionstechnischen Eingriff verändert.
In dieser Doppelprojektion bedient sich Arcangel der Technik des phasing von Steve Reich, bei der die beiden sich wiederholenden Videosequenzen teils phasenverschoben, teils wieder synchron zueinander gespielt werden.
