Every year on the 21st of June, the imported French festival inspires both amateur and professional musicians of all ages and genres to take up their instruments ( or grease up the vocal chords ) in public performances but without cost to anyone.
Un-plugged music will be performed on streets, squares and in parks throughout the city of Berlin between 4pm and 10pm that day, thanks to the generous permit for street music, as long as hospitals, places of worship, schools and memorials are not disturbed.
