One aim of the new (German) Product Safety Act (ProdSG) is to purge competing regulations which result from the coexistence of the GPSG and the EC directive 765/2008 relating to accreditation and market surveillance.
www.tuv.comAus den beiden EG-Vorschriften ergibt sich zusammen mit der EG-Verordnung 764 / 2008 als Weiterentwicklung des bisherigen New Approach das sogenante New Legislative Framework ( NLF ), das eine Anpassung des GPSG erforderlich machte, um entgegenstehende Regelungen zu beseitigen.
Die Ablösung des GPSG durch das ProdSG soll gleichzeitig zur Bereinigung von Unklarheiten dienen.
Das GPSG umfasste neben den auf europäischer Ebene harmonisierten Produkten eine weitere, kleinere Menge von Produkten, die keiner europäischen Harmonisierungsrechtsvorsch... und somit auch nicht der Verordnung 765/2008/EG unterlagen.
