tant que

subjonctif for anteriority (when the action in the main clause takes place before the action in the dependent clause)

indicatif for simultaneity and posteriority (when the action in the main clause takes place during or after the action in the dependent clause)

Da sowohl Participe Passé als auch Participe Composé Vorzeitigkeit ausdrücken, können manchmal beide Formen gelten.

In folgenden Fällen muss aber Particippe Composé (und nicht Participe Passé) verwendet werden:
