In the course of 1997 , the Munich-based company Kayser-Threde and its Italian subsidiary Media Lario have delivered the second and third mirror module ( Ã † ca. 80 cm , approx. 100 cm in length ) for the X-Ray telescope XMM ( X-Ray Multi Mirror ) .
As was officially confirmed, these flight units have been tested successfully over the past few months at CSL ( Centre Spatial de Lià ¨ ge, Belgien ) and at MPE? s ( Max-Planck Institute for extraterrestrics in Neuried near Munich ) Panter test site.
