Die Region ? eský Krumlov nimmt den südlichsten Teil der Tschechischen Republik ein ( der südlichste Punkt der ? R liegt unweit des Grenzübergangs Studánky / Bad Leonfelden ) und als Grenzregion ist sie mit Österreich benachbart.
