Die Künstlerinnen kreierten damals in ihren Fotografien, Zeichnungen, Filmen, Videos und Objekten kollektiv ein neues 'Bild der Frau', indem sie mit ihrem Körper selbstbestimmt eigene weibliche Identitäten entwickelten, provokativ und radikal, poetisch und ironisch.

The Feminist Avant-Garde of the 1970s.Works from the SAMMLUNG VERBUND, Vienna, for the first time brings together 450 pieces by 29 artists in a 1600m2 space in BOZAR in Brussels.
Back then the artists created a collective new "Image of Woman" in their photos, drawings, films, videos and objects, where they developed self-determined own feminine identities by using their bodies, which are provocative and radical, poetic and ironic.
