Die Studierenden erlangen die Strahlenschutzausbildung gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen Richtlinien der Allgemeinen Strahlenschutzverordnung BGBl. II Nr. 191/2006 (letzte Änderung BGBl, II Nr. 76/2012) Anlage 8.
Sie erlernen die Grundbegriffe des Strahlenschutzes, die Zusammenhänge zwischen Strahlenenergie und Strahlendosis und deren strahlenbiologische Auswirkungen auf Personal und PatientInnen hinsichtlich der diagnostischen Anwendung von Röntgenstrahlen und Gammastrahlen.
