Ein vom An-Institut ifak an der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg koordiniertes Projekt hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht , Konzepte für ein nachhaltiges Management von Wasser und Abwasser für Lima zu erarbeiten , um die knappen Trinkwasserressourcen so effizient wie möglich zu nutzen .

Dazu gehört auch die Entwicklung eines Modells, das das gesamte Wasser- und Abwassersystem der Stadt simuliert und mit dessen Hilfe Zukunftsszenarien modelliert werden können.

A project coordinated by the associated ifak institute of the Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg has set itself the task of drawing up concepts for the sustainable management of water and waste water for Lima in order to use the scarce drinking water resources as efficiently as possible .

That includes modelling and simulation of the city’s entire water supply and sanitation system, facilitating the modelling of future scenarios.
