Henry Fourès, 1948 geboren in Coursan ( Südfrankreich ), studierte Kunstgeschichte an der Université Paul Valéry de Montpellier und Musikwissenschaft am Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, wo er für Notation, Analyse und Komposition einen Ersten Preis erhielt.

Danach studierte er Musik des Mittelalters an der Universität in Berlin und Klavier an der Musikhochschule Wien .

Von 1975 bis 1977 war er Mitarbeiter der Groupe de Recherche Musicale (GRM INA).

Henry Fourès, born 1948 in Coursan ( South France ), studied history of art at the Université Paul Valéry de Montpellier and musicology at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where he was excelled with a first price for notation, analysis and composition.

Thereafter he studied medieval music at the Universität Berlin and Piano at the Musikhochschule Wien .

From 1975 to 1977 he was working for the Groupe de Recherche Musicale (GRM INA).
