- Una organización secreta en EEUU, que se opone a la igualdad de derechos para los afroamericanos African American. Se estableció en 1866, después de la abolición de la esclavitud. Declarada ilegal en 1871, resurgió en 1915, ampliando sus ataques para incluir también a los judíos, católicos y extranjeros. Durante los años 60 se opuso violentamente a la campaña por la igualdad de los derechos civiles de los afroamericanos. En la actualidad tiene poca influencia. Los miembros del KKK se visten con túnicas largas de color blanco y capuchones altos terminados en punta que les ocultan la cara.
